How do I...?

Ok, so I checked out a demo skin. How do I get it off? In fact how do you remove any skin? there is no detach. If I put another skin on, my inventory says I am still wearing the other one.

You need to wear another one to get rid of it, if its not changing its prolly lag issues, happens to me all the time

Try a relog maybe, then try wearing the old skin

Another question. Where do you go for privacy? not that I want everyones secret hiding places but how do you go about looking/finding a private area to get a *good* look at yourself? I bought a couple *items* that I would like to check out on myself but not chance having any kind of an audience when I do. I have yet to notice any shops with private*changing rooms* lol.

There are a few options for privacy, Lacey. One easy thing is simply to go where no one else is... like, in an abandoned new sim in the middle of nowhere (i.e. Promissa, but y'all better not go there after I say this ), or fly high up in the sky and stand on a platform (skyboxes as they're called when made formal). Additionally, if you have a friend who owns a hidden private island, you can camp out there.
