Need help again before the forums close

If you want to have several of your favorite songs playing in your home how do you go about doing that? Do you buy a stereo and dl music to it or what? I know somebody here can help. Thanks!

If you're talking about providing custom music from your own computer for your friends while on your land then you need to set up a broadcast server from your computer and paste the created URL into the Media tab of "About Land". The link below is a good start for exploring music options:

Serious answer: if you want details on how to stream music to your land, do a search of these forums with the search button up at the top and use the word "stream".

There are a number of threads here already that will tell you how to do it.

Unfortunately it requires the same thing since Second Life doesn't support personal in-world playlists (see my proposal later this week, I guess in Feature Suggestions when this forum is closed). Right now your only option is using an external music player. If it plays within Second Life, it plays for everyone who activates the music control, and this is why you must provide an external broadcast server (either your own or a rented one) to get the music to reach the Second Life environment.

I sell a stereo that can be set to choose from up to 12 preset channels of the user's choice, if you are comfortable modifying a script. It does come with instructions.
