Burning Life questions

My name is one of the names that's on the list for the Burning Life which got land in sl.
But although I received this land I'm totally clueless. I went to the area and I can see it's a big place with different lots of land. But I need answers to questions regarding this land.

I wrote Guy Linden and he said I could go and begin work on it. Is there somewhere I can go find information on all the questions regarding this land?

For instance:

Can I choose any lot? If I do how can I do it so others know I"ve already chosen it?
Do I need to pay anything on it?
Can I begin to set a house down?
How long can I keep it?
These and other questions that would help me regarding this land.

As you can see, like I said in opening statement, I'm totally clueless in what to do. Can someone please let me know any information on this matter or if there's a website which answers questions on Burn Life as far as what to do and how to do it.

You will have been allocated a plot - look at the list in the first forum to see which sim you're in, then go look for it

If you are on a "basic" account you'll need to tell Guy and ask if you can join the group - there's a system problem that means unverified accounts can't buy group land for rental.

I looked round earlier, lots of people seem to have started building stuff, so you might like to wander round for a little inspiration.

Cole, Burning Life is a yearly event in SL and doesn't reflect how one usually buys land. Your BL plot isn't where you would build a "house," it's more of a communal/collaborative art project where you can build whatever you want, but it will only be there for two weeks after the start of the event (Labor Day? I'm not sure). You have until then to finish your build, whatever it may be.

The lot will actually have your name on it in the land description. Just go around your sim and slide your arrow around until you find the one that has your name on it.

Or search the land list and look for a Burning life lot with you name on it for sale or $0.

I talked to Guy Linden. He explained and I saw the land, it was big. However, I gave it back as I don't have any use for what it's intended for. This way someone else who didn't get any can use it.

I wish it had been a permanent thing but unfortunately it's not.
