...I thought about posting this in Design & Textures...but that is more for questions how to make things so... When buying clothes, do you prefer a well made hand-drawn vector item or a well made life-like textured item? I find that I have been leaning towards vector lately because of the quality difference, they are always much cleaner and smoother. Two pix are below to try and explain what I mean. I only know of a few shops with vector-drawn clothes so I am not sure what to think. Shirt texture copied from a photo: http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/7654/shirtreg3vk.jpgShirt drawn with vector: http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/9892/shirtvec5yn.jpg

I can't tell any difference at all. The are similar enough to make me wonder if you might have gotten the pictures confused.

When the avatar has a body shape straight out of a four color comic, vector drawn clothes work better, no doubt.

I can't tell much difference except that it looks like you applied a filter to the second one to make it look more....vector.

I think the first 1 looks better.. the breast area seems to look more natural.

This one looks better to my eyes, the shading on the chest is smoother and makes the shirt appear to have depth. To me the shading on the chest is not really shading on this one and makes the shirt look flat.
