Some of you may have noticed the Toys for Tots threads I made in a few forums, but this will be the last post, and it will encompass everything i've previously said, and the rest of the info that all of you need to know
First off I'll start by saying that this project was thought up by myself (Kismet Muromachi) and my wife (MeriJayne Hornpipe) in hopes to raise some money for needy children. What we've done so far is made an entire winter wonderland on the Awesometastic sim, generously donated it's use from Iakona Gould. We've began building a huge Christmas tree, a skating rink, and many other features. The reason for this post is to announce the project to the community and to call out to the builders of 2nd Life. This post will also lay the 2 sub projects that make up the entire project, and this includes the -Call to Builders Sections- and the -Xmas Ornament Section-

Currently we're looking for more builders to fill up the remaining parcels we've layed out for display. If any of you are interested in participating, please get a folder together named "TFT - YOUR NAME" & drop it on ONLY Kismet Muromachi. Include pics of things you've built in the past, not neccesarily xmas stuff, just whatever you're proud of, Prim stuff only, not clothing. Me, MeriJayne and the rest of the officers will then screen all the entries and contact you if you were selected.
We are also looking for a radio station(s) to broadcast during the event & if your interested, please drop a single notecard with the following:
Station url
Names of ppl in charge
Genre of music you play (if any)
**Builds for the Fundraiser - In Depth**
We're looking for seasonal builds, doesn't have to be christmasy persay, but something wintery. Also please, we're covered as far as gingerbread houses go.. no more please lol. I also want to point out that the sim is mature, but the builds need to remain PG, this is after all a fundraiser for kids. If you have something in mind that might be pushing it or your not sure, please run it by an officer of the event. I'll be listing the officers later on in this thread.

Even though this event is similar to relay for life, it's not like it. This event is pretty much only being coordinated by Myself and MeriJayne, it's not (as of yet) being co-sponsored by Linden Lab. If you do have any questions, please feel free to reply to this thread as I will be checking back from time to time to answer them.
The limit will be around 300ish prims on a 40m square parcel.

*Xmas Ornaments - Call to the Community*

Now we call out to you, the rest of the community. We're making a Christmas wall in which you'll be able to decorate!
The idea is to make an ornament... hang it on your tree, trade it w/ your friends, give one to a newblette, but most importantly, give a copy to Kismet Muromachi & we'll put it on the Christmas Wall. Make sure to come by from time to time & see how it's progressing & let your friends know about it so they can be a part of the Christmas season in Second Life.
Remember, the texture should be sent the same way as in the builders part.. In a folder labeled "TFT - Ornament - Name" Please adhere to this format so it'll be easier to search and post it on the wall.
Since we anticipate hundreds upon hundreds of ornaments, we have to ask that your ornament be only one prim... so this means you need to create a texture. It can be your stores logo, a pic of you & your friends, a special holiday greeting, or whatever you want! Make it unique so when you come to visit the tree, you & your friends can spot it out! The only things we're asking is that you make your prim between 1/2 meter & 1 meter & that it's flat. A freshly rezzed prim is 1/2 a meter square so keep that in mind when making your texture!
We would appreciate you making the sides clear but it's not required. Alpha'd ornaments are awesome too but also, not a requirement. One thing we won't accept is lewd/crude ornaments. Most of us aren't easily offended but it's Christmas & this is a community project, make something that'd be viewable in a PG sim LOL.

*Limit 1 ornaments per person
*Drop your modifiable ornament in Kismet's inventory so I can add it to the tree. We will return it if you try & place it yourself.. So please drop it on us
