hey guys
can anyone tell me what program
that the dj's use to play thier music on the land?

Just use the land tools. Click on your land, select "About Land", click the Media tab, then enter the URL of whatever audio stream you want, whether it's your own or one from outside.

There are actually a number of options depending on your operating system and tools. A good place to start is the DJ information found here:

http://secondlife.com/community/music.php

ShoutCast and IceCast serevrs are mentioned but they aren't the only options. You also have to be aware of your upload speed unless you wish to pay for a third-party broadcast server.
