I just noticed this in the patch notes:
- The default attachment point for objects is now the right hand instead of the head. This should be the end of what is commonly known as ‘Box-head syndrome’.
I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad about this. Wearing a box on your head was an SL right of passage. Yeah it was annoying, but it also brought joy to so many.
*sniffs*
I think I'll go put one on just for old times sake....

Yep... Will miss it too.. Was allways good for a few giggles (from female AVs) or chuckles (from males AVs).

awwww... it IS a SL rite of passage. i'm sure every single person on their first day had a box on their head at some point in time. too bad, an end to the occasional chuckle.

Yep. I started a thread for what I loved in Release Note, but this has to be in what I DON'T love. Sad, bye bye boxheads!!

First day? Hell, I did that last week  I will miss the "boxhead" for the rite of passage and teh chuckles, but I do think this is a good thing. It makes more sense to ahve it on the hand. At least those of us who ahve gone through the rite, have teh fond memories and remebered chuckles from those times. ~Jessy

Placing a box, a car, or even a house on your head IS a right of passage and shouldn't be taken away! By the gods, at least make the attachment point for people under two weeks old be the head.  |

If you explicitly wear a box on your head before setting it for sale then that should override the new default. All merchants should provide this essential aspect of the new customer experience.
