Why is it that TEAzer's can list 48 events in a 24 hour period, many of those were repeats, and it not be considered spam? Why is it they tp you into the middle of the mall when you try going to one of thier events. You do not even get tped to the actual event.
Seems there are some rules for some and other rules for the rest. What a shambolic mess.

Nobody said you couldn't run multiple events, or run the same event at different times of the day. As long as each event is an event in its own right.

From: Arwen Scholten Why is it that TEAzer's can list 48 events in a 24 hour period, many of those were repeats, and it not be considered spam? Because of different timezones, different classes, different hosts? They do provide a huge service to the SL community. From: Arwen Scholten Why is it they tp you into the middle of the mall when you try going to one of thier events. You do not even get tped to the actual event. My guess is that it's set for teleport routing to landing point, rather than the point of the actual class. Presumably there's a clear sign there which shows you where to go? From: Arwen Scholten Seems there are some rules for some and other rules for the rest. Not really. It just depends whether you break them or not as to whether you get action taken. Oh dear! Is it not that Teazers is a venue and not an event? You can have many different events at the same venue and it should not be considered spam just because they all say 'held at Teazers'!

Seems there are some rules for some and other rules for the rest. What a shambolic mess. Teazers' events are REAL EVENTS -- they are educational, there is ALWAYS someone there "hosting", and they take place during a SPECIFIC time slot. Casino pseudo "events" and bogus "yard sales" listed by commercial secondhand goods dealers who don't bother showing up at their own "events" don't belong in the EVENTS listings. There's THREE LITTLE RULES, guy -- what's so hard about understanding that? You want to advertise, there's the COMMERCIAL forums. or float a big cube over your cr*ppy "yard sale".

From: ninjafoo Ng Presumably there's a clear sign there which shows you where to go? Yes there is a huge board right in front of the telepad which you can click to TP to the Lobby - from there you can then click the class board indicating the class you wish to attend and be TPd there directly. If the class isn't shown on the board, there is usuallly somebody in the lobby who will tell you where to go.

I've attended a few Teazer's classes. While I keep telling myself that I *really* got to copy their gig and remake Primtionary as a building "class" so I can get support too by and large the classes are authentic. Yes, "Make a Pimp Cane" doesn't sound as big and weighty as "Basic Building 101", but it's a well-known method of sneaking education by in the real world. Given the limited effectiveness of Orientation and Help Island, the fact that most Teazer's classes are low-level is a blessing, not a curse. I declined to join, back in the day I ran classes regularly, only because I'm a control freak and prefer owning the land I run a class on if possible.
