Well, that does make it sound like it's more of general interest than just, "Hey, our business has done it's first thing and here's the event!"

Nonetheless, I think the time has come for a special forum for all these things having to do with outside concerns, including magazine articles. As for the SLCC, that should have been - and once was - in Meet-Ups.

I didn't make the rules - I just expect them to apply to everyone.

Are our businesses every bit as much businesses as some record company? If not, then we need separate forums, since our businesses have to stay out of General.

I took a look. Pretty neat! The music is nice and I love that sectional you've got downstairs! Also the baked sunlight/shadows on the floor. Very nice.

It is, very nice indeed. The changing atmosphere is very well done, too, you don't really get that from stills.

this was a neat announcement and a lovely build. Introduced me to a new musician too.

Fair enough cocoa, although your other post on this matter wasn't so much balanced as it was snarky ... but yes, as more and more RL businesses experiment with SL it will lose its novelty value to a certain extent and people will expect to see it moved to "events" or "services" sections of the forums just like SL business events and services.

this is, of course, assuming the forums don't spontaneously implode into a 10th circle of hell one of these days.

Thank you, Forseti.

As to the build itself, those are beautiful textures, Aimee.

Beautiful build. Even learned a few tricks there.

The press was visiting too! Unfortunately, everyone that was there left because of a lack of hors-d'ouvres. :P

Seriously, this was one of the cooler things I've done in SL. I hope this is the first of many listening parties in SL.
