Hello,

For reasons of just curiosity as well to possibly meet griefers at their level I was hoping to get some firearms training. I searched the forums as well as the classifieds and don’t see any offered

Is there anyone that can give my friend an I an hour or so of training on firearms?

I am interested in guns and the different types of firing modes they have, how to holster guns and draw them, best gun choices, practice shooting on a range as well as on a SIM that allows it… possibly some training on shields etc. Generally want hands on in SL.

Please be someone that knows these subjects and IM me and we can talk about rates.

Thanks !

Attach weapon.

Go to mouselook.

Point.

Shoot.

Repeat.

Get banned for griefing the griefers.

Go over to Jessie and check out the vendors. There is often a rep there than can discuss weapons with you.

Unless you're trying to fight fairly, you want weapons that don't really need to be aimed anyway.

You want to meet them on their level?

Reminds me of the joke about wrestling a pig. The pig likes it and you get dirty. Same thing with being on the same level with griefers. :)

Sorry to start a thread and dissappear, thanks for all the responces. But the above got my attention. I spent summers working on the family farm and if I am in the mood I love to roll in the mud wrestling a pig. Same in online games as I have a pretty diverse taste. I can wander the amazing landscape of second life and enjoy it but if someone starts I am happy to wait a week, login with an ALT and go-a-hunting. :)

Oui,

You will find a couple of very good practice targets on SL Exchange. I bought one myself. It records damage inflicted, displays where you hit it, and can be "killed" (and reset for more practice).

Alternately, you could make something. Find one of those freebie random movement things like the little green dragon, but one that is modable. Attach a target to it. Drop it and let it move around while you practice.
