i loged in and downloaded the upgrade and now i cant walk or nuthing its freezeing my computer and i can bearly interact with others with out sticking in one pos. notbeing able to move while holding up does any one no why this isplease help me ans i downloaded every driver sl offerd maybe im missing sumthing ive been playing normaly not laging untill toay witht he new upgrade

It might help to clear your cache and restart SL (in the Network tab of Preferences).
Otherwise, please let us know the spec of your computer, espacially the graphics card and someone might be able to help. _____________________

Also turn off or down all the graphic settings in Preferences.

ok it seems to be a little better i can lag walk now but see like i was moveing so sweet befor that upgrade i was not freezeing or nuthing i was so perfect no lag what so ever and no im moveing like i have the slowest comp in the world i herd other people have been threw this and fixed there prob ,i also got every driver on my comp now so what else is there to do i cleard the catch size and all i wish secondlife would just switch back because this new thing is mesing my computer up any other sugjestions you guys would have for me im..................ready to quit trying

have you updated the drivers for your graphics card?
the update was screwy for me at first, but after updating my drivers it runs wonderfully. _____________________

i think i went to secondlife.com and went to download then went to drivers and utilities or what ever and downloaded every driver they had and yet i log on to sl and cant walkw ith out all this lag |

Turn down all of the options and then log in. If that fixes it, then slowly fiddle with the options, until you get them as lag free and as good as you can.
Odd, all I did was turn off the avatar vertex thingy and my lag went buh-bye. My comp/graphic card combo didn't seem to like that particular rendering option and frankly, I didn't either. My avatar started looking kinda creepy. _____________________
