The number of top level, visible bugs in the 1.10.2 release goes without saying.
The inventory issues affect everyone, the bugs introduced to the culling model affect everyone that designs or uses prim attachments.
Yet Linden Labs, in their approach to this, is to let this state of affairs continue on til they've had time to "patch the patch", which could take a week at the very least.
Meanwhile these issues are affecting businesses globally. Inventory issues are causing mass confusion for buyers and designers as well, and the resource load because of the culling errors is causing lag and depreciating the appeal and value of the builds of many designers in the game.
In fact, with the new introduction of flexible prims in 1.10.0 (which was a godsend really) its rather amusing that the next most recent update afterwards would break the rendering of flexible prims when it says its fixing issues with them.
Whats with the pride LL? Why sit on this release and force the paying customers and developers of SL to deal with it til you ferret out what you've broken and fix it?
Its quite obvious the QA process for this update release failed miserably. It needs to be rolled back to the previous version until its been perfected.
As I said the issues inherent from this update are top level, easily visible to even the untrained and uninformed user.
Roll it back. Its obvious its not functional and its broken not only everything it was designed to improve, but also broken several other things it had no intention of touching in the first place.

They didn't roll back 1.7. Why roll back this one? This has nothing on 1.7.

Second Life 1.10.3 ia in preview now. The release notes are: Bug fixes:
Resolved a simulator crash related to scripts The inventory search problem is not fixed. It's not inconceivable that they could just go back to an older version, to the extent that doing so is possible, but I doubt that will happen. I suspect the best one can for is for them to fix the problems caused by their latest attempted improvements without trying to add any new improvements. I think the best one can do to help may be to go to the preview grid, fiddle with the inventory, make the culling and other problems happen, file good bug reports.

They're well aware of the bugs in 1.10.2, my entire customer base has been reporting them cause every time I get an message asking questions about the problems as they relate to my products and services I ask them to file a bug report and they do.
Its not like the issues that came along with 1.10.2 haven't been exhaustively reported already.

Why have the last two patches been both without preview time?

I'd like to know that myself. This one has been really bad. And as much as I try to stay in contact with support and keep abreast of when its going to be resolved...I still don't get any answers.

I voted for 'pie'.
In this case that translates to 'Fix it.'

I chose dump it because of the object detail bug they introduced.

-Ghoti Me too, only mine translates to "Roll back as far as you can to satisfy everyone." Course that would be never, and they'd get into negative version numbers and the universe would fold in on itself. I'm not ready for that - I have not even made my first million yet! MM
