I dont know how many others of you go stark raving bonkers at IM's from hell of people responding to something in group chat with "?" "huh" "what?" over and over and over, so as it doesn't seem we are going to be able to toggle mute on and off, and our solution is at this stage to leave groups we find too verbose... I've logged a proposal with the feature voting tool at http://secondlife.com/vote/index.php?get_id=1418 which, while i wrote it with my own group in mind, would be very worthwhile of consideration for alot of other groups with a number of members in them - would appreciate any votes of confidence to help it make the 500+ votes it needs to be even looked at.
