How to start a radio station?

Hello.

I am looking for step by step instructions on how to start a radio station like the many stations we hve streaming through second life. Is shoutcast, which seems expensive since its based on fee per listener, the only option?

1) Contact Ice Broadie (he or she is cheaper than dirt) to get a icecast server setup
2) Download a program like SAM2 or something that will allow you to stream
3) Read the sam help file or just tinker with it
4) Your good to go at this point, if you need anymore help im me in world
