I remember Furcadia had a banner that you put onto your website, and it lit up whenever you were in-world. Do we have the same thing for SL?

If you mean an online indicator that tells when you are online, yes. But it only appears in world. (there are many free varieties of that)

As for a banner for a website..not sure, Torley Linden has one on her blog I believe. You could ask her possibly?

I could be wrong (I'm bad at script-fu), but I think the upcoming llHTTPRequest() script thing will make this possible, as long as your webserver can handle it.

It already exists, some people have such things on their blogs. It will be a bit easier to do with httprequest in 1.10 though.

Ah, specific instances:

Max Case's @ http://www.maxcase.info
Mera Pixel's @ http://www.meratalk.com <--- she's looking for testers!

These are online status indicators and don't have graphical banners--yet. But I expressed interest in this!

The problem - as far I can see - is that you have to have a fairly open-minded hosting service, that'll let you accept XML-RPC connections from SL..

*nods* X-fire works as well!

As you can see, it shows my in-game status, and how much I played...

...

Most of that was spent idling while doing other things, I swear!
