I was just looking at my avatar today, and it occured to me that almost everything i own has been given to me by other people.
I am still humbled by the kindness shown to me over the last month.
Especially to 2 women strangers, who gave me some clothes, and a skin (before i even realized what a skin was, just suddenly looked better <g>;)
Anyway, to all the people out there helping others - thank you so much !!

Enjoy the skin. :) Actually, enjoy exploring and learning. But yes, enjoy the skin, too. :)

Enjoy the skin.:)

Can't wait to take you out of context.

It's fun being generous to newbies. If i see someone in a white T and jeans, i have a whole folder of cool stuff i drop on 'em :)

this appeared to be the best thread to post this statement. i have had a really positive experience with a member of SL named wiccan sojourner. she is the owner and designer of the clothing line for bewitched designs. i had had a problem with a couple of her designs not fitting correctly. as it turned out it was my skin that was the problem and not her design. even after this discovery, she took the time to make adjustments to her design so that it would fit me correctly. i felt it honest, professional, kind and above the call on her part to take the time to see to it that a customer with an un-abliging skin was satisfied with what they had purchased from her, especially since i was the only person out of, i am sure, at least a hundred or more that purchased the design to complain, and everyone i know loves her work as she is a talented designer. i tried to rate her twice because i felt she deserved it for her efforts to make sure i was happy but i could only rate her once. i think if a person wants to spend the 75L$ twice to rate someone, they should have the option to do so. i was disappointed to find i could only rate her once.

I must agree! I was given an item today from a fellow sl'er.

9 times outta 10 most ppl are more than willing to lend a hand or give you a gift.

I know I'd do the same.

It was kinda funny with the skin , didn't know such a thing existed, just noticed i was suddenly anatomically more complete the next time i had my clothes off <sly grin>
I do try to pay back, usually helping new arrivals figure things out - except, i'm such a hottie right now i think it intimidates them a little - lol
