i had never even FATHOMED that it was gonna become such a sickly excuse for billy bashing. yeah it was a really really really bad joke in terrible taste. but then..you all arent so lily white that you can cast stones. i mean, look at you all..go through all your thread posting and its all the same: gossip gossip..bash bash... Billy is an awesome guy..and he WILL be missed by the many many people who saw how absolutly amazing he could really be...you guys only see what you wish to see when it comes to him. as for the backlash because of this. i could care less. i really could. why would i even associate myself with a bunch of two faced people such as this lot? I have enough friends that im not gonna lose any sleep over a few forum rats saying theyre not gonna be my friend. For the few of you who were truely concerned over this and worried..i am terribly sorry...it was never our intention for anyone to get really upset over it. and this is where everyone will quote me and say "you said he was murdred, what else were people going to feel?" this whole joke was brought on by too much rum and boredom. it was never really thought out of what to do when people started getting really concerened and up in arms about it. if LL decides to dish out punishment for this ( which i highly doubt because its not technically slander or anything else against the TOS ) id take it, because now that billy is going to not be playing anymore theres no point to play so much anyways.

I think you've already said enough.

Shammy and I were discussing the original post and I said that I felt she owed an apology to everyone. Not to avoid displinary actions but simply because it was bad choice and she needed to take responsibility for that.

At the time I had been involved in my RL for a few hours and was unaware that:

A) Shammy had already had posted comments to the original.
B) The post had been locked. (As it should have been)

Since I had mentioned in the beginning of my conversation with her that I had read the post, she thought I was aware of the aforementioned.

So this post is completely my suggestion and thus my fault.

edit: Can anyone make use of this exploit? Like, if I tell her to stop posting to the forums and not use SL ever again, will she listen to that, too? Or do I have to wear a fez on my head? Please give me the full story on this.

None of us pretend to be lily white. We don't pretend to be anything other than ourselves. We don't lie, we don't do pathetic things to get attention, we aren't rude to the people who wish to ask us questions, we don't say we are going to head up a major building project when we have no skills or time for it.
Did you ever stop to consider that the response that post received was one that was EARNED?

I think the problems with 1.7 are having a very profound effect on some folks.

For the past couple weeks, these forums have become a freak show.

Off-topic, and now General, have simply become a morass of self-adulating, self-indulgent, navel gazing, look-at-me-I am-so-smart-and/or-clever BULLSHIT.
