Burning Life Questions?

Hi all..... I may have missed the threads relating to Burning Life.... but I was hoping to get a quick synopsis as to what it's about? Is it to showcase creative builds? What's the SL history of it? What are the current ideals and goals of it?

It's SL's version of Burning Man. It's all about the art baby.

What Vares said - it's 168 individuals and groups chosen by lottery to participate in a large-scale art festival in a twelve-sim desert that will culminate in a "Burning the Man" party September 15 and end on September 18 when all the sims get wiped clean...

To get there in-world, click the map and do a region search for Burning, and all twelve sims should appear, each name starting with Burning Life...

I think Burning Life really shows the true spirit of Second Life. It's all about creativity and exploring the endless possibilities of your imagination . It's about art just for art's sake.

I love Burning Life, and I even got to help out on one of the builds this year! Ok, it was only in a tiny little way, but it still counts!
