From what i saw on the blog the forums were supposed to be whacked on the 8th, is this all been halted due to the security exploit?

Yes the Lindens have decided the forums are needed but they are only keeping them till this current need ends.

I personally have mixed feeling on this, because I don't think there will be a time when there is no longer a need for answers from these forums. Terrible shame.

But we could also make a go of all the other forums and use in world groups to pass info round but we got to get on with the changes and work together to ensure the spirit of the forum doesnt die out whatever forums it goes to
