Security breach effect on males with female avatars?

Some say a large percentage of female avatars are run by people who are really males. The information taken in the database break-in included real names, many of which might be considered distinctively male. How does the database break-in affect the sl gender bending community?

Edit: I just realized the people most affected can't answer unless they have an alt.

I have an alt thats female. Since I use her when building on my home and for modelling, I won't reveal the anme as part of the reason I use her is to avoid mass floods of IMs, which I often get on my main.

Doesn't really affect me, I reset her password just like my main one, and have told some close friends the name for emergencies.

One.. the so called hacker would be putting himself at risk of being tracked to come here and post that information.

Two.. The account info proves nothing about users gender. I have gamed for many years and know lot females have bf/hubby sign up their accounts. Sometimes its just for billing reasons to have all the bills on one CC. Sometimes the female doesnt have her own CC. Sometimes the male makes a account for her lady to try and get her into gaming.

My question concerns cross dressers, tranvestites, and such, males who use a female avatar in addition to doing such things as wearing female clothing or studying and attempting to emulate "feminine deportment". People who get labeled as or label themselves as transgendered.

Some of these people may have, for an example, pictures at Snapzilla in racy outfits or engaged in "mature" activities, which they felt comfortable presenting in public because there was no connection between them and their real name.

I don't think this impacts just transgendered individuals. *Anyone* who might have a racy, compromising picture could be at stake in a similar manner. Many look down on any form of BDSM, pony play, you name it, etc.

And the TG goes both ways, BTW. There are MTF and FTM trans in SL. There was even a poll about it in the forums. While not necessarily reflecting real numbers, it could be considered indicative. I think it we were split even 50/50 male/female, with 10% as MTF and 5% FTM, but that's just off the top of my head.
