(Figured I'd better move this to a better forum before replying.)

I listened. And I created a Freebie database that is organized, categorized, and easy to use. I bought two different types of "servers" to distribute them on and it's up at SLBoutique as well. It's totally free and new items will be added at least bi-weekly.

The only payment I've ever personally received for doing this was a $15L tip someone gave me out of the blue.

There are people out there who care more about community than their wallet. If someone makes major changes to a "freebie" and puts some real effort into making it into something new/different, then sure I see no problem selling *that*, I suppose. But I don't see that often.

Freebie-sellers...your days are numbered. ;)
