Could someone tell me how long the current last name list has been up and how often it changes. I have not see anything explaining it. Is this the same list as a week or two weeks ago? Do the names role around again so you can get the same last name as a friend that started earlier ?

Names are removed after like 500 accounts created with that last name. And won't return. But there are plans to open up lastnames all together, but no timeplan on that.

Last I heard, once a name has 150 entries in it, it's retired then a new one is added. There's some sort of game in the Linden Labs Office to pick the new names.
