Not long ago, a few weeks ago, my home location was changed from a combat sim to Ahern. I don't own land there or belong to a group that owns the telehub and thus didn't make this change myself.
Last night my home location was changed to the telehub in Hanson.
I'm not Governor Linden and I'm not in the LInden maintenance group so so there is no way for me to have done this by mistake.
Anyone else have this happen to them?

I'd love to be able to reset my home to one of the Linden-owned WAs, especially Waterhead.

I ran across a newbie the other night who had be re-homed to Help Island even though he had been in-world for several weeks. I filed in a bug report...
Added: he also had been in combat sim and "died". When he rezzed home, it was at Help Island.

From: Burke Prefect I wish I ciuld reset my home to a specific hub, likw Waterhead. Or to a less laggy hub somewhere. Find a ground with land in some decent spot, join it, and set your home to there. Or like me just wait and maybe it will happen of its own accord. I assume we don't get to choose any Linden land as our home spots because LR wants us to pay for the privelege of choosing our home locations. Can people who are on the access list of a private island set their home to a spot on it?

If it only happened once each time I presume your sim was down for maintenance and you were set down somewhere else for convenience.

Over the course of this last week, I've had my home auto-switched to Ahern twice. This switch did not coincide with version upgrades, nor any discernable event that I have been able to deduce.

From: Garnet Psaltery If it only happened once each time I presume your sim was down for maintenance and you were set down somewhere else for convenience. For those who don't own land, having the home location set to an unwanted location and then being unable to change it back is not a convenience at all. Kat, your signature image is in desparate need of chapstick.

Sue, somehow my home location has been changed to Ahern also. It happened after I was standing on my land and all the sudden I was teleporting. I never got a tp request and I didnt have the map open. The port stopped half way. Strange stuff.
