Does anyone else think that should be changed? If you cancel your account other places, do they keep your cc info on their database? This is just plain wrong considering once customers put in their cc info they cannot remove it themselves and if someone wants nothing to do with second life and took the steps to cancel their account, shouldn't their cc info be removed too?

If that is a concern (and I believe it is) then a person may wish to cancel the existing card (or call it lost) and if you decide to stick with SL take advantage of the great new "get an account and don't post anything at all about yourself, or fake stuff if you choose on our server". It seems to be the kind of era LL is OK with ushering in. You gotta admit that is not something tried elsewhere in the online world arena. Kudos for cutting edge...

Your bank can issue you a new one. I am going to have to do that as well. I feel your pain.
