Until you hit 45 days old there is a very restrictive limit. After that the normal resident can spend up to $2000USD on the LindeX. If you need more there are tiers you can apply for.
If your avatar is younger that 45 days you can visit a number of sites that sell Lindens: http://www.anshechung.com/ http://gamerzfix.com/ http://www.slexchange.com/ _____________________

Tatiana, if you haven't already upgraded to Premium, you could do that.
As far as I know that doesn't count against your limit, and will get you L$2000 or so straight a way plus L$400 every Tuesday. The longer you sign up for, the better value it is; if you sign up for just a month at a time, you're paying more than you would be if you just bought those Lindens, but if you sign up for a year you get them much cheaper (with the "catch" being that you don't get them all at once) |

Unless that shows $0 available, then it should accept your order. Lewis _____________________

Hum, I wouldn't think that paying for premium would count against LindeX tier. The new user US$150 limit is AFAIK intended to stop someone stealing someone's credit card and buying lots of L$ with it. This is because it could wind up in a situation where LL is forced by credit card laws to reverse the US$ transaction, but can't claw back the L$ which may have entered the economy by that time. Based on that it makes sense that any transaction with LL would count. |

I have a biiig shopping problem too, and since I'm going back to university in a couple weeks I've gone back to my old budget. One trick I've found to lighten shopping expenses is if you find something you like, write the item name, price, and store on a piece of paper and wait a day or two to see if you still really want it, or if it was just a passing fancy. Also, see if you already have something similar, in the case of plain sweaters and camisole tops etc, that would make this purchase unnecessary. ^^

I'm aware, but she was saying that paying the $72 yearly fee for upgrading to a premium account was taken out of her $150 monthly Lindex limit. _____________________

Ugh, I hit the $150US limit on my 35th day or so and was a little flabbergasted by the sudden error message when I attempted to buy more L$. I had a personal celebration when I hit the 45 day mark finally.
![]() Paying for the yearly fee for your premium account should NOT have any effect on your Lindex restrictions, AFAIK, it's not related at all to the Lindex. So I'm guessing you really did just go over the $150 mark. You can buy L$ in the meantime from www.slexchange.com if you're in dire straits, even I didn't quite get to that point though, just waited my sentence out! |

I'm aware, but she was saying that paying the $72 yearly fee for upgrading to a premium account was taken out of her $150 monthly Lindex limit. (nod) And since this limit is intended to prevent credit card fraud, it makes sense that any payment from that person's credit card to LL would count, no matter what it was for. |
