Do you think the recent changes in the Classified section where you cant post comments on other ppl's hard work is good? or is it bad?
I feel they should just took out the "Bump" thread out, or add a "Classfied Discussion" forum into the classified section, so it would not go to "Best wishes" lol
But i feel as if we did not get a chance to choose, they just took over and said no more.
What do you think? Explain.

I get through the Classifieds in record time now. I look at what is there and move on to the next. I love it!
I do agree with wuvme in the idea of having a classifieds response forum. An area separate from the General Forum leaving that with some much needed peace and quiet *coughs*. Make it an area for questions, comments, and the ever popular discussions.

I'm finding it easier to "shop" the new forum, now. Though, I will miss feedback, I don't hate the new change; it's better than their previous plan to REMOVE those forums.

It's not as good a change as no-bumping would have been, but it's much better than it was before.
(Except that now clueless people are posting threads asking why they can't post comments there, as if we'd be able to post post an answer to them. :/ But that's okay, because rather than just IMing them like a smart person would, people will post a new thread to answer their question. Brilliant.)

I hate it. I'm spending much less time in forums now, which is good or bad depending on your view...and when I get back in forums I'm skipping classifieds because there are too many new posts, much of them not worth looking at. I hadn't realized how much I depended on other posters to let me know what was worth opening and what was skippable. I liked letting designers know that i liked their stuff. There was a whole little community of designers/shoppers/fashionistas, etc. built around the Classifieds forums and now it's gone.  |
