Goodness! Incredible volume on LindeX! I guess my question is... where did this money go? I know my stores aren't seeing L$3,000,000 in business per day... so I wonder... what industries are consuming this vast amount of L$?
My theories (ranked in order of estimated size, from greatest to smallest)
Real Estate (the actual virtual land) Clothing/Accessories Furniture & Fixtures Casinos (Gambling) Vehicles & Aircraft Other
Anybody else care to gander? $12,000 USD was spent today In World! Are you getting YOUR cut?

Where did you get that figure? I saw a volume of 1.7 million Lindens for today.

Jamie, your enthusiasm for LindeX is so great, you actually see more money changing hands than actually took place! WoW!

From: Jamie Bergman Hmmmm... but look at the chart.... L$3,000,000+..... one of these is wrong.... The $3M mark on the chart is for the 14th... today is the the 15th (and we're at $2.1M so far today). Still not bad though for yesterday -- over $3M!!

Interresting to note, While 3m L$ was traded, the price of the L$ went up. Good times.

The higher the volume, the less urge there is to list at a worse exchange rate to get a quick sale. The rate of currency purchase should act on the exchange rate. Higher sale rates should bring the Ell up, and lower sale rates should bring it down.
Of course that's an oversimplification, but like a lot of oversimplifications, it is a useful one. There are - of course - many other factors operating on the sale price of Ellz.
