Setting teleport points outside their parcel

Hmm, I've just discovered..

You can't set a landing point for an area outside a land parcel normally.

But you can set the landing point for a parcel within it, then edit the parcel so that it's no longer within it, and the landing point will stick.

(For a demo - and not at all an advert - teleport to Yumi's Rental Space from the Find menu, and you'll actually land in the adjacent parcel Yumi's Service Plaza. Which is good, because I didn't want people to be able to warp into the houses and the service plaza is the friendliest place to put folks.)

you could always set the landing point outside the parcel...

Very interesting.

This would be ok if the same person owns both parcels. This is not good if you can sell the parcel where the landing point is. A person could grief the future owners.

You can't anymore - not directly.

If you click "set landing point" while standing outside the parcel you get an error message.
