Might there be some value in having a docutmentation forum, with one focus of it being on improving the secondlife.com/help wiki?

I suppose I should go look this up, but...
Doesn't anybody grab good info off of the Scripting Tips, Building, and other forums and put it on the t/wiki?
Assuming the t/wiki isn't freely writable, would a submission mechanism there be better than a forum?
Just wondering...

There is a separate forum for scripting, and it eems to be doing fine as it is. It has a well organized front page and is full of clearly written explanations.
The other wiki, for the large amount of information about Second Life which is not scripting related, seems much less well done to me. The wiki is user editable, but I find the editing method rather awkward, and I suspect others might also find it awkward. There is a method for making comments, but I suspect that the forums would get more attention than the wiki's comments page,
A particular part of the secondlife.com/help wiki that I don't like is the front page. I would rather discuss changes to the wiki first, in front of a fairly large audience, before making changes which would just be undone by someone who thought it was alright the way it was before. There's a lot of good information in the support wiki, but I think it needs help from a good editor to make it more organized, expecially on the very first page, which strikes me as just a hodgepodge of changes with no design at all.
