Possible? If so, could someone direct me to a rental system capable of doing that? Thanks so much =)

You just need to make the tenants members of the group that owns the land. You'll need a officer to set the land options and subdivide/join the parcels and invite/eject members as required. Members can set their prims to the group so they avoid having them autoreturned (if autoreturn is set). Only officers can terraform.

Caution:
- officers of the group can sell the group's land to themselves for 0L$
- only officers can change the land options, not members, so it might be frustrating to some tenants - BUT members can deed tools like TV remotes and Radio prims to the group so these can change the URLs of streamed media on the parcel... although maybe only officers can do that, I'm not sure :/

Working around these two points means that you're the only officer in the group and can install complex scripted machines to let a given person manipulate some of the parcel's setting (terraforming and streaming options, mainly). I think this is what you refer as rental system ? Scripted machines that authorize someone to manipulate these options for a given period of time upon payment ?

Right - There's two officers in the group, one of which is MIA, thus leaving me. The other officer bought the land, pays monthly, and set the land to group owned. If he quits paying premium, will the land vanish?

Ah, by rental system I mean those cubes where it says "Rent this stall" in a mall and you can automatically rent it out without needing to contact the land owner (Which in this roundabout case would be me)

The land will revert to Governor Linden. It will then go up for auction.

Oh, alright thanks. I'm seriously considering a premium account any ways since I spend 90% of my free time on SecondLife (Nooo! My social life is ruiinnneed! :( )

Anyone know about those automated rental system "cubes" I'm talking about?

hi

there are plenty of rentos out there for sale and they range from $L5000 or 5% of rent paid to 2% of rent paid or L$1000. I sell my rentos for $L1000 which are very simple to use. if your after something simple to use then i recommend my rento. :)

Ah, not worth it in my situation :)... I'll only have this land until sometime in November when the other officer returns, plus I would only charge like L$20/week because of the small land plot and obscure location.
