I'm looking for people who are willing to invest in a long-term, medium risk business with a good chance of a high return. All investments will be applied directly to hiring developers and 3D modelers, as well as paying for land. I would estimate about 6 months from business start until you would start seeing returns. As time progresses, the current plan is for hosting highly publicized events (in both Second Life and real life) as both a way of boosting revenue and Second Life enrollment, so the potential for success in a large way is very real. Please contact me via e-mail or private message to discuss this, or if you have any general questions (I am willing to discuss the business in more detail with selected people, but I would prefer not to post to the public just yet.)

More information

There seems to be a good bit of interest in this project, so I'll go ahead and provide more information. I don't really want to go too far into detail with the business plan and strategies with the general public, but a detailed business plan is being finalized and will be available to investors.

The general idea is a business that will present itself somewhat like Wells Fargo has done with Stagecoach, with the notable exception that it will be open to the Second Life public as well. The long-term goal is to market the business as a seperate entity, powered by the Second Life engine. The focus will be on making the business as easy to interact with as possible, and try to mitigate the overwhelmed feeling that many people get from Second Life. Many users who sign up with the intent to interact with this business will later move on to become productive members of Second Life, so the potential for bringing new life to the economy and strengthing the population is large.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in investing in, there will be a small investors meeting within the next couple of weeks. Send me a message if you would be interested in attending.
