Extreme Harassment (don't know what else to do)

A person on secondlife started spamming me with notecards and I can do nothing because the notecards wont stop comming. I can't even report abuse. What can I do?

The person seen in the picture is the one doing it.

I really hope this kind of harassment warrents a little more than a warning.

How about teleporting home or to another location to file a report? There is also Live Help.

That particular individual uses notecard spammers to give out information at visitors to his stores.

Evidently he doesn't understand that these things can be configured not to spam anyone within 3 miles. I've come across them on regular occasions whilst out shopping.

I sent the guy an offline IM with a link to this thread. Maybe he'll come and see what he's doing, and fix it.

I don't think it's "targetted spam", it's a notecard vendor spamming you.

It may be an innocent mistake though. I had a vendor spamming people and couldn't figure out what was going on. Apparently if you use the touch event rather than the touch_start event it doesn't trigger touch_end so it just keeps going and going and going and going.. You get the picture.. Go into live help and ask if a Linden is on to look at the offending object.

It was a Linden who informed me of the bug in the touch event by the way. If it'll ever get fixed? I doubt it..

Extreme harassment is trolling, revealing personal info, stalking, griefing etc.

I dunno, there's chat behind it that looks like it is notecard spam/abuse....

You were in a sandbox and its possible someone else was in that sandbox writting a script to hand out notecards. Looks like its not quite right yet...

Personally I am not fond of unsolicited notecards.

You guys are all wrong, I haven't been online in three months, I don't even have the newest uptgrade on my computer, I quit this game 3 months ago due to imature and knee jerk reactionists like you all. You all deserve me an apology, I do not like being defamed. Do you always run around half cocked? Get a life and leave me the hell alone.

It is your object that is spamming people, even worse if it's spamming people when you are no longer even playing.

You need to get in-world now, remove all your spamming devices now, if you have a shred of decency in you.

I cannot fix this, the objects do not belong to me. It is not my problem, it is the Lindens that allowed this "owner" of the object causing the spam, who undoubtedly is a griefer in game for "FREE" I no longer own any property, nor items in game. I cannot fix someone elses property, It is not my fault someone is distributing copies of notecards I made over a year ago! NOW STOP DEFAMING ME OR I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE LINDENS!
