Howdy folks,

In honor of the anniversary I'm offering free US flags to anyone that wants one at my park at Gramela (225, 195, 27). No strings, no commercial plug intended, I just want to offer something to the community for folks to show their pride during this day of remembrance.

There's a memorial at the park. Right-click the flag on the monument and purchase for zero dollars to obtain one.

I'm guessing this isn't the correct spot for this post, but I'm doing this last minute and looking to spread the word as quickly as possible.

As good a place as any, it should be remembered, never forgotten.

Dearly Darling,

I just got home from getting my flag. Thank you. Your memorial is very nice. We lost five friends that day.

Ever Yours,

Mrs. Showdog Tiger

I'm so sorry, Show!

Part of the reason I did this was I've met a good number of people inworld that lost family/friends that day. I'm a west coast guy and don't have many friends east of the Mississippi, so that day to me was mostly just a tragic historical event...until I started talking to people just this weekend.

Although I'm a flag maker I've never been much of a flag waver. However, whatever I can do to help my new SL friends convey their pride/solidarity/anger/frustration/etc. I'd like to do.

Best of luck today...
