I have just talked to my bank representative who luckily works on a Saturday. I explained what the Lindens said about their database being hacked with personal information and my creditcard number and that the CreditCard number was encrypted. The bank has changed the creditcard that I use with SecondLife. They felt that if the hackers have the data is is just a matter of time before they or someone else cracks it.
First LindenLabs did not mention CreditCard information. Then there were lots of postings to explain that the number is encrypted and we are safe. As much as I love RobinLinden and all the Lindens I love my money more.
