Missing prims

I have discovered various odd prims missing from my parcel. But worse than that, yesterday an elaborate window disappeared, which will have to be rebuilt.

Has anybody else been experiencing this? The missing bits just vanish, do not go back into inventory.

It's been happening and it worries me.

As well as missing inventory! We're feeling the results of the 10k members online. I wonder why they haven't done a stress test anytime lately, I'm sure it'd break SL.

Could you give us any other details Selador? Were the missing pieces parts of a link set? How close were they to the sim border? Were the objects locked? Do other people routinely build on your parcel and perhaps push it over its prim limit?

Before ending my sandbox I starting getting prim drift on my EGO Labs Voot Slide after months of never seeing this effect that others have often commented about. It seemed to happen after a region restart due to a crash, but for some reason this was the only object affected.

I doubt if any answer will produce an immediate lightbulb solution, but if enough other people who have been affected similarly post their conditions perhaps we can ask the Lindens to investigate that set of circimstances. I hope this isn't a case of database fragmentation or data loss.

I have had bits disappear and then show up again the next day. It could be that they're just taking a really, really long time to rez.

I was working with a pool i had made, i shrunk it down and turned it to work with it better. on the axis turn it disspeared in my hands. I was complelty befuttled.

in this same hour i was listening to a CD (wave tracks) that i attached to my HUD. i told it to DROP to everyone else could hear it. when i did it Vanished as well i looked everywhere and in my enventory.

Im am pretty experenced with finding my things so im not a noob or anything.

I was making a pudgy Snow Leopard/ Raccoon Hybrid avatar. When trying to edit the the back rolls using the Stretch tool, it just vanished. o.O

The window I believe was linked and locked. It is about 20m from the sim border at the closest. Yes, people routinely build on my parcel, but I do regularly clear the stuff, and I have about 500 prims to spare.

Maybe they went public, and someone deleted them fot the $4Ls.

I have a sim crash logger and i seem to lese prims everytime the sim is restarted. Euttum has had 7 crashes over the last week. My troubles are not only my disappearing prims, but getting parse errors (about three so far) when rezzing objects for the first time from my inventory.

I have been getting this every now and again. Pieces of my dock will disappear but I think it is an issue of how long it takes to rez. The entire dock will rez all but just this one piece.

The strange thing is that my husband will log in (at the same time) and he will see the entire dock (which is also in his inventory). Yet no matter how long I am in or what I click on, I will never see the entire dock, I will always see it with the one piece missing.

Just damn weird.

Yep, I've had the same thing on my land. My fire pit thing on my land disappearing a few secs after I logged in so I replaced it. When I logged in next day everything I had two of them. Go figure

I got an email from SLExchange saying the magic box was missing, and then noticed half the prims in my store were gone. I've also lost a few other things I was working on that just dissapeared from inworld or my inventory without going to trash/lost and found.

well i'm glad i'm not alone, though shouldn't this be in technical? i've had 3 items of mine vanish without a trace from my house so far. interestingly, they all emitted particles, and in fact they were the only objects that did so. seems sl doesn't like my particle emitters.
