hey there, i have been noticing a number of alts posting bad things about myself on other forums.
im pretty sure its an ex-employe of mine and some of his friends but cannot be sure.
they have even gone as far as obtaining my IP address and using it as they log into trusted 3rd party websites and cause havok using thier alts.
I noticed a recognized name on SL exchange selling and game set of pizza and slingo for a very cheap price. i was interested in the pizza game so i posted in the thread he/her started to see if they would sell seperate. i try to log in this morning and i find my IP address and my SL exchange account (axel truss) had been banned form using SL exchange.
they had even used my 2 email addresses to sign up for SL exchange and secondlife to make it seem more legit that it was me causing haok using Alt accounts. i dont visit many if any 3rd party SL websites but somehow they mustve got my password to those email accounts (they are the same) and used them to sign up for SL and other sites.
I feel lucky that LL put the warning about using a differnt password for SL than anywhere else, so i changed my SL password only days b 4 all these attemps to ruin my name had begun, if this warning was not shown i probably wouild have lost my SL account also!
It was only after posting and seeing i couldnt access SL exchange that i ntoiced the person selling the games had THE MAGIC BOX placed @ one of my companys malls.
I hope you all can look past this immature nonsence that this person or people have caused and we can all progress as normal

Doing this intentionally is almost impossible. But you mentioned something about employees. If you mean in your actual physical workplace as opposed to SL, the culprits to look for are on the same network you are. Have the network admin check logs. _____________________

The only ways this is possible: - They are using the same computer or are on the same network as you - They are using the same proxy server as you - They use the same ISP as you, and just *happened* to be assigned an IP address that you had used in the past. Have the network admin check logs. our whole netowork @ work (i play SL with buddys when on night shifts alot!) but people come and go from our place. ive heard of programs that make servers think your using an IP your not, not sure if thats what they are doing or what...i just want it to stop also, im not totally sure they are using my IP, i just thought that as my IP is banned for no apparent reason...ill speak to SL exchange tnoghit and see what going on _____________________

they havnt used axel truss's SL exchange account
they have made alts that link themselves to axel truss such as braking into my email accounts and using tem to register alts. they have posted on sites that have since deleted the threads that attack myself and eden developments they have done all this while using an IP rider program to make it seem this computer did it all! im not apologizing as i dont have anythign to apoligize for. im simply letting yall know that this is happening to me and you can do what you wish with that info, but just letting community know about this _____________________

Are you a very important person? Um, apart from that 1 prim work of art which was on sale for 30,000 L I don't remember anything else you made. Sorry if I'm just being a noob and not aware of your diverse artistic gift to SL. So why would anyone want do this to you? I seem to recall you do have a need for attention, (as seen from your 1 prim sale of a work of art), and thus this whole thread kinda makes sense for me now. And the most important question. Why should we care if someone used our own computers, using our own e-mails with our own ip and machine hash to lash out on slx with racism etc.. and then when found out all accounts using that perticular ip having been wiped. I mean this is like one in a billion chance of such a thing happening right? Just a thought. _____________________

as stated, i suspect this is an old employee, i have also had rough and tumble from rival casino owners when the manic casino was in operation. Important? To my friends and wor mates in SL, i believe so. but in that way, we are all important. to the future i hold in SL i do find this important and this case is disturbing that people would go to this level to desicrate myself. seeking attention? far from it, my 1 prim artwork a cry for attentin, no. you have no idea the exsact reason for myself to sell that, nor is it your business. this thread started for attention? ABSOLUTELY!! i want everyone to know this has happened to me and that it may happen to them, this is me also pushing the notice from LL about not using your SL password for anything, (ofr myself this also included my email address) and to be very carfull on third party sites and 'too good to be true' sites... axel _____________________

Dude.. why do you play SL at work? Just to add to this comment... why not? In my lunchbreak, I often log into SL and play for an hour. There's no reason why I shouldn't. I often browse the forums and other internet sites inbetween (stuck waiting for the printer to finish for example, like I am now). Why should this even be a problem? Lewis _____________________

SL exchange sent me the following email which confirmed my suspicion of them scamming using my internet details found on my home computer: "Dear Axel Truss, Your SL Exchange account has been disabled under Section 8 of the SL Exchange Terms of Service because you were found to be in violation of Section 6.2 of the SL Exchange Terms of Service. After investigation of a complaint from another user we found that you used your account to give additional credit to an alternate account's misrepresentative advertisement. This action violates Section 6.2 of the SL Exchange Terms of Service in that you misrepresented both yourself and the item being sold. " I was expecting this email i as this is what i thought this intent griefer had done. oh well, life goes on. thanks for yall surport axel _____________________

Actually if Axel uses IRC, some client software and servers and several 3rd party sniffer programs can be used to out his IP. _____________________

You see how immature and bored these people really are. They have left the nest and are harrassing and slandering others for absolutley no reason except to make themselves feel better.
