I mentioned before a problem with photographs rezzing, which seems to be ongoing. When you take a couple of photographs they seem to rez reasonably quickly, but then subsequent photographs seem to take about 5 minutes to rez.

'Save Textures As' doesn't appear to be working.

World/Land Owners is not working. Instead of a proper colour change, what is happening is that there is a very subtle colour alteration in the ground texture. To give you an idea, this is how it appears to me.

One picture with Land Owners switched off, one with it switched on:-

The blob in the foreground was a tree which just refused to rez, even after 20 minutes. :(

Did you "mouse over" the base of the tree? I ask because I have yet to find a texture that wouldnt load by doing this (including textures on prims people wear).

Just from my own experiences last night - 'mousing over' wasn't enough to force the texture to load. However - if I right-clicked the object to bring up the Pie menu - and let it sit there for 4-5 seconds, It would load.

Could be I was simply misunderstanding what was at work here, of course :)

Yes, I did. I tried everything short of chopping it down.

From my experience, the best way to force a nearby texture to load has always been, even prior to 1.7, is to hold down the ALT key so that you get the magnifying glass cursor and zoom into the texture so that it fills your field of view. I think this puts it at the top of your "interest list", giving it priority.

Actually we just had another odd texture behaviour with snapshots happen here

my partner took a snapshot to show me what he "wasn't" seeing (as in not rezzed). WHen the snapshot appeared on his screan it also became the texture of the nearest unrezzed prim. we now have a floor with a nice picture of grey not rezzed limbo. LMFAO

While i have had instances of this i also have another problem...after waiting oh so many painfull minuites for evreything to rez, at some point everything will actually begin a procress of un-rez'ing (think of a blob being the start of an evolutionary chain, and a fully rez'd/viewable object as being the end) well...its bassically like looking at that evolutionary chain in the reverse direction! It remains that way for awhile an eventually everything has to rez all over again (though somewhat quicker now) but it still will happen again later...really really annoying...

Many problems have been sorted, but I have discovered another one. World/Set Away does not appear to be working. :(

Strange - I will try it again today. Yesterday Set Busy was working, Set Away was not.

Yes, Set Away *is* working. I don't know why it didn't the other day.
