"Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database."

Yay!

So is this temporary asset cluster melty, or have I lost this rare, out-of-production item forever and ever?

I would check the blog, but, ya know...

I have also lost three objects a couple of weeks ago, one was hard to replace. But it said "parse error".

Several textures missing..... old and new...

The item is back. Thankfully. That was close...

I thought I was going to have to write a very stern letter to Philip Linden.

Yeah, last time this happened to me it was just a temporary error also.

Gesture missing from database. Huh. Ah well, clear cache, log, go to bed, I'll try again tomorrow.

I got "could not find object in database" on a skin tonight, and yesterday I was having serious texture-loading issues. What is the asset server, a '73 Chevy?

I guess I'm not the only one. I have a missing texture in my shop, but the odd thing is the other one I uploaded right after the missing one is still there.

I think Fenrir is right- It's a Lottery.

I still have missing objects as well.

Perhaps "objects" are closing this friday too.

That I shouldn't whine because LL specifically states that anything, anyone, anywhere can go poof at their whim?

Or are you pointing out the irony that, while being a service-based company, LL doesn't really do all that much to guarantee our long-term data integrity?
