Feature Voting Issue

Feature voting needs the Linden in charge to come along and consolidate the votes. I am quoting a different thread I posted. It is "my pet suggestion". I see similar multiple requests for other ideas (I.E. adding .png support for easier alph-achannels) Several people are saying the same things, but nobody is reading the former posts.

Schedule a meeting of the programmers also to review this stuff. Chances are there are a number of very easy to implement things there. Many would qualify as Sink sources, which would help deal with things being discussed in another forum. (please not this thread )

Its very easy to go in and remove your votes from some ideas and then go re-cast them and the VoteThingie programmer probably thought people would 1: know how to use it and 2: Remember to check their votes.

Oh, and if you are going to put a vote in, be sure to add a thread in feature suggestions and tie it to the vote.

Im not voting for -any- of those so not gonna adjust my votes but this suggest is very well needed. Maybe anyone ELSE who notices the EXACT same topic spread across several proposals could post the list along with description here so others can consolodate as needed.

I also think it would be a good idea to just do a clean wipe of the current proposals and let people repost ones they feel emotional about. A week or two warning prior to the wipe would be good too.

I've noticed a LOT of similar proposals that I personally am waiting for LL to implement: A second layer on the "tattoo and makeup" layer. That would make one layer system (head, top, bottom) for a skin base texture, ANOTHER so people can actually WEAR the tattoos they buy... without resorting to the default LL skin.

In total, that's 351 votes. Not a single one of those proposals even has Linden acknowledgement. Some have been around for a year.

The voting system is more of a way make it seem like your suggestions matter. You can make a proposal and watch it get support by like minded residents but it's still just as much ignored as if you sent it in as an email suggestion to LL.

Even accepted proposals fall by the weigh side if it's not something LL already had in their own vision. I mean, look at this, we get our Pony, yet Pony Linden hasn't been inworld since 28th of April!

Hah! Proposal 78254: Zero (0) Pony for residents to ride for a small fee.
