So... for my friend, when he presses alt, besides enabling look mode, it also highlights active-scripted objects in red. :/ How exactly does this work? What option triggers it? He has no idea, himself. Would be damn useful for finding... secrets!

Try "View" -> "Alt Shows Physical"

Nope. As I said, it highlights SCRIPTED objects, not physicals.
A final try before the forum closes. Anyone? :/

If you want to find scripted objects all you have to do is turn on the beacon for them. It's in one of those menus up there, can't remeber which. But it will show them all to you.
I've used it to find very small scripted objects that I had lost track of. It's very handy.
Edit: It's in the view menu. View>Beacons>Scripted Objects.

The trigger for THIS is ctrl-alt-t. I know I said my last post already, but I know the answer! The person that said the 'Alt shows physical' response was correct. There's a bug that sometimes make it come on. You have to go to View-> Alt shows physical twice actually. Once to turn it on, then again to turn it off. Post again with your results. ^^\ Before you say no, just try it.
