Every time I try to log on, it says there is a new version and would I like to download? Sure I would if only it WOULD download!
All it does is crash to desktop.
Is this yet another SL "improvement"?

Try uninstalling it, download it directly from the site and reinstall. See if that works. Sometimes the update installer screws up... okay, more than sometimes.
