Any one notice that Lindens need to use spellcheck on their message of the day?

I didn't notice this time, but I have noticed many times before.
It's not just the spelling that needs to be checked, it's the grammar too. It takes but a second or two to run a spell checker and a grammar checker, and maybe get a colleague to look at the one or two sentence MOTD and make sure that it makes sense. It makes the product look more polished, as if it was made by professionals. It's worth the time to do little things like that.
Hey, a new revenue source, sell MOTD rights to the highest bidder!

Ah, okay so my grammar stinks to high heaven, that is why in real life, I have a professional editor read everything I write.

I've suggested that in the past. The Lindens should sell Classified ads, like they currently do for the Classifieds tab in Find, that would appear with the MoTD. US$ or L$, hopefully L$ (nice big sink there).

From: nimrod Yaffle I say they do a sun/moon texture rights to the highest bidder each day. Hey, how about selling ad space on the crash reporter dialog box? There's an awful lot of wasted ad space in the ground textures on Linden owned land. And ad rights to the default n00b skin might bring in a few lindens too.

From: Sensual Casanova too bad you weren't lol... I think its a great idea I wouldn't want to have to see ads when I start the program up. One could make an ad HUD, somewhat like those Metadverse signs, and people could attach the HUDs when they are in an ad watching mood. Ad HUDs could detect where you are, and give ads based on vendor location, or let you select an ad category. Ads could also go in a Mozilla floater. Press F! for ad supported help, press F1 and pay X lindens for ad free help.
