You know what would be a cool idea?

Yo would it be possible if we make a theatre, and in that theatre would be a play list of Pink Floyd’s music, which during the music a laser light show would flash with the music. I don't know if any of you are aware that they do in fact do this IRL, but I think it would be a cool idea to pull off in SL. Who is with me?

The theater thing is definitely doable, the laser light show.. not so much :/

Mostly because theres no way for the lights to respond to any sound coming in (i'd kill for a good visualizer!). I suppose you could hack it if you knew the BPM of every song.. but what a pain.

Right I guess your right..I dunno..maybe a cheap knock off of a lazer light show..maybe night hitting every beat...But just some random lights..But then again it would not be as cool....

You could try picking up a lighting system (DNA Prototype's God of Light system is freakin' awesome) and playing with the speed controls. The price is kinda high though, so make sure you have some L$ to spend before you pick up the system.

Once you do, you'll be addicted

you could do it this way:

set up a dome theater with a HUGE media texture on the inside wall.

Make a video of a Floyd laser light show

play the movie in your theater.

easy, see?
