I was telling some people I work with about SL and they couldnt quite grasp what I was talking about. So I went home & decided I'd make a small video to show them on my laptop. Well, instead of recording to the hard drive, I decided to record it to the VCR to capture back into the PC. That way I could skip any boring stuff & get to all the highlights- building, clubs, cassinos, movies, and all the way cool shit people put on the land. Well- THREE HOURS later.... I finished recording. There was just SO much I wanted to show that I lost track of time. It's gonna be an all-day affair going thru the video, recording the clips, piecing them together. Not to mention cutting out the times I had to wait for lag-heavy areas to rez everything in. And if you're asking "Why dont they just go to the website themselves?" the answer is simple: They forget.  Ok, and some of 'em just aren't too bright.

Any plans to upload the video anywhere Tod69? If so I'm sure there's a lot of us that would be very grateful of the opportunity to use it to convince our friends to sign up! |

Working on it now. For the 3 hours of video it'll prolly be several just sifting thru it to find decent clips. Heh- if all else fails I'll just re-do the video. Once it's done I'll try to find a spot to put it for folks to Download.
