I rarely start a thread, I don't even think I have never even started one in the "general".

But reading the Release Notes made me twitch of happyness and I don't know, I felt the need to share, haha!!

Maybe you guys could post WHAT YOU ARE MOST HAPPY ABOUT in the Release Notes and explain why... NOT what you are NOT happy about, there are enough threads about that already hehe.

My orgasm-making reading included:

- For Second Life builders, Selection effect particles can now be disabled independently (Tools->Show Selection Beam). This means your “My Effects” particles no longer get in the way and you can build without disabling all particles. (i.e. the dots won’t block your objects)
(When I was building very tiny weeny prims, this was total HELL and I was cursing more then building. I am sure many did, glad LL listened to us *clapping hands hysterically*)

* Group Enhancements
** Group limit per user increased from 15 to 25
** Group member minimum reduced from 3 to 2
(makes SENS, we are HAPPY)

* Group Notices
** Group notices can be created in the ‘Group Information > Notices’ tab
** Group notices can include an attachment
** Group notices are sent to all group members
** Members may opt to not receive these notices in the ‘Group Information > General’ tab
** Members can browse the last 30 days of notice history
** Members with IM to Email set will receive these notices offline
(altho this could be scary and spammy but we can turn it off so YAY)

Improved Snapshot Interface
* “Freeze Frame” toggle added to snapshots
** Remove checkbox to restore old snapshot behavior <<<----- (I don't know if that means we can choose to take pictures the way we used to do before, but I sure as heck would love that)

* “Grant Modify Rights” has been changed to be more comprehensive
** You can now allow the person being granted rights greater freedom of modification
(this can't be bad at all, it used to behave so wrong >__>;)

* Clicking in text fields in Edit Tools selects the input position without highlighting the entire field
(THANKS GOD THANKS LL OMG YYYYEAAAHH BABY - sorry, that was making me NUTS)

* User is now notified when receiving snapshots, notecards, and landmarks
(About TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!??!?!?!!)

Now if only there wasn't some people stupid enough to crash a grid right after an update, we could test all these lovely things, RIGHT >:(

Aight, next!

Ooooh, now I'm all tingly!

I can't wait to get home and open up this goodie box. I have been waiting, longing, pining for the new groups options and ceiling... drool!

i like the group announcements, i tested them before grid went down again, i`m officer of one of the lucky chair groups, so this will make it a piece of cake to get the updated list out to members weekly :)

----
also julia soothsayer of awesome designs sends out exclusive freebies to group members, i`m sure this will make her task MUCH easier too :)

You skipped over the part that really excites me personally:

From: someone
With Members, Roles, and Abilities, you’re finally be able to control “who can do what” within a group, giving organization and flexibility for all kinds of groups.

- Group Founders have much greater control over their groups with the ability to stop rogue Officers. Founders can also prevent group land sales, objects being inadvertently or intentionally returned, and worse.

*does happy dance*

Btw Elka, I <3 your shoes!

I will forgive you for calling me Elka and say THAAAAANKS for the compliment, haha >:P

But yeah, it's a cool new featurette too, just was not in my top orgasmic changes hehe, probably because I don't have to deal with it.
But YAY for people that need it and that are happy!

What I would enjoy is a Rank system, Instead of the base 2 , you can have other ranks, [Cindy probably said about it already but I didn't read the Quote too well] So you can have ones such as "Newcommer" then have "Master" and for the top have "Owner" or in whatever instance you can put it as.

Think you can create multiple 'ranks' in a group now, each with its own set of rights and possibly associated title as well o.O

I love and hate that. I'm so use to just re-entering the whole number with the one change by now that it will be a force of habit to do it that way haha. I guess in the long run it will be cool though.

i cant wait to join 10 more groups either

Can still double-click to select the whole field for replacement, i think.

Then again personally i find it much faster to highlight field with Tab/shift-Tab and re-type the numbers... so suppose that makes it 3 different ways at least to go about it o.O;

*looks at looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong list of bug fixes*

*cleans up mess*

I'd also like to state that I did get to log on for a few minutes before they took the grid down again. The Focus issue is fixed!!!!!!!! (that annoying thing that makes you jump around like an idiot after doing something in another window and then trying to chat)

*has another mess to clean up*

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.
