I keep getting these messages, one just popped into my inbox 5mins ago, claiming the resident i messaged is in Busy Mode. Trouble is, its someone ive never met or spoken to before, never tried to message, and i logged out around 12 hours ago. Is this a bug?

( and simply repliying 'turn off IM to inbox' is not an option either, i like recieving my IMs in my inbox when im offline. )

I had a few of those pop up yesterday, although I hadn't messaged anyone (who I did speak to) for around 20 minutes previously.

I just put it down to one of those SL things and carried on.

I'm pretty sure this happens when someone is in busy mode and then clicks a vendor of yours that uses llInstantMessage().

Yes. Or when it hands them a notecard, or if they ignore the warning and buy something while in busy mode.
