Ok. (Braces for extra clear phrasing)
I have an object I would like to Deed to Group. I set ALL permissions on the thing I am aware of. I set the object itself, and everything in the container to full-mod. I have right-clicked on the scripts, got the permissions on them, set them to full mod. The officer of the group needs the ability to change the script inside. I am deeding to a group that I am the only officer.
Once I deed to group, sometimes the object itself keeps permissions, but not always. The scripts inside always become no-copy/no-mod. Am I missing something here?

I also noticed a problem that, when deeded to a group, you (at least I, multiple times) can not pick up the item. I have to return it to myself.

Can't say for sure after the last update, as I am locked out by this one...
But prior to this, I noticed that deeding a scripted item to group-owned sometimes broke it badly...

Thanks Coffee Linden!
Spent some time with Live help. Got these results...
If you sell the object back to yourself (assuming you have rights) you can then tweek the scripts etc. Then you can re-deed to group.
Sometimes (haven't figured out the rules yet), you can "share with group" in the properties of the contained objects and be able to modify the scripts.
