Is there some reason why the scripting guide couldn't be made to show up in the F1 browser? It's just a plain old html file.

Well actually the Wiki isn't a plain old HTML file.

But yes, I agree, I'd like to see the LSLWiki introduced to the Mozilla help window.

If I had meant the wiki I would have said the LSL wiki.

I said the scripting guide, not the LSL wiki.

On a default installation of Second Life on a Windows machine , in C:\Program Files\SecondLife there is a file called lsl_guide.html .

You can open this file in your default browser from within SL from the Help menu, where you will see separate options for the Scripting Guide and Scripting Wiki.

I popped this into the settings.ini file and it worked so far.

HtmlHelpHomePage file://localhost/C:%5CProgram%20Files%5CSecondLife%5Clsl_guide.html

It is nice being able to paste the entire function name and parameter list in, and having a more detailed explanation than the the popup tip, readily at hand with no window flipping.

Anyone know of an IRC client that will work in the F1 browser, or any other chat system that works in the F1 browser?

Heh, I tried using Acrobat Pro to compile the scripting wiki into a PDF so I could read it anytime without being online. Wow was that a bad idea!

The lsl guide aint the wiki, but it's better than the popup tips in the script edito.

There are some downloadable hardcopies of an old version of the LSL wiki on Torley's webiste, at http://torley.com/i_am_hosting_a_mirror_of_the_lsl_wiki.htm.

The links shown there are:

The forums at sluniverse.com work in the F1 mosilla browser.

I need to find those redirect pages that were mentioned in a thread on the mozilla browser, and a web based bookmarking system that will work in the new browser.
