Okay, that is so on my to-do list of places in SL to visit. If my laptop were good enough I'd do it now. XD

Went for a visit last night! AMAZING!!!!!!

The place is a beauty to behold, but the Life simulation going on there with the ecosystem just blew me away!

If you have difficulty arriving in Svarga, just try again in a little bit. Laukosargas told us last night that she limits the sim to 8 visitors at a time to keep lag from disrupting the system.

Laukosargas spent some time hanging out with us and showed us around the flower bed area, with its flowers and trees and birds and bees all interacting.

Extremely fascinating stuff.

Some of you may recognize Svarga as the work of the same artist who created the Castle at Orwood, which has moved to another sim, as I understand it.

Wow! I read the blog and i'm going to go visit this for sure tonight when I home! This looks very exciting. (It's odd because I really want to see how this is built with scripts at it's core. The various systems and functions\tricks used to do this :) I'm sure it's really really nice eyecandy too, i'll just ahve to wait until tonight!)

I've been popping in and out over the last couple of weeks and, not only is it a fantastic example of alife, but the setting is wonderful as well.

Feed the birds btw :)

I went with some friends last night after reading about the sim on Hamlet's blog. I loved it, I've not seen anything like it in SL. There was so much effort put into every detail and I think I sat there feeding the birds for about 15 minutes lol. Wonderful job!

wow. So the name Svarga sounded familiar to me so I checked my collection of landmarks.

I've TOTALLY been there several times already lol! I think i've spent a good couple of hours there just exploring and oogling the scenery. I had no idea the flora and fauna were cutting edge. I just thought they were masterfully done! Glad to hear it's getting recognition for it's mastery!

heh! what can I say? Your responses are overwhelming, I'm so glad you like it and it makes the effort all the more worth it :)

Due to demand I've increased the sim AV limit to 12, this may seem low but the stuff I'm working on uses time dilation as limiter and I'm trying to avoid that.

Everyone welcome, if you can't get in try later :)

I love the depth, the textures, the models, the teraaforming, the details from the 100 ft level to the extreme zoomed in level, from A-Z this is top notch quality. I am so glad I read about it here this morning so I didn't miss out on seeing this sim. I feel so inspired, thank you Lauk for an awesome experience on your island. :) bravo

Wow. If this isn't an example of compelling content in SL I'm not sure what is as I'm compelled to visit the server on a semi-regular basis to see what's new and changing.

I hasten to say this with such a non-commercial project but, unique living setups like this could go a long way to value enhance the sale of unique island sims with a life of their own. I'd care much more about logging in each day to see my own island that's growing and changing on it's own then having a static map to walk around on and see what new prim objects (horrors usually) visitors/friends/tenants have linked together.

Honestly, this is deep at the core of my new company, Belvedere Estates. We are watching this new breed of tech being pioneered in this setting very very closely. We are eager to see these mechanisms become developed and available to be used on a grid-wide basis. We would be delighted to incorporate systems such as these in our new 12 sim continent opening in a few months. I lift my glass in salute to the artists and coders! :)

It is the most beautiful (from a purely aesthetic point of view) and the most interesting use of the platform I've seen so far. I went on a "newbie tourist trip" of all the recommended sims yesterday, and Svarga blew me away. I took a lot of snapshots and I'm going to make a point of recording, visually, any changes I see there.

SL needs more of this! Laukosargas is a Goddess! *insert bowing smiley here*
