Because we sure don't have enough of those yet.

Good riddance/Farewell, cruel/beloved forums! I am glad you are going/will miss you terribly when you are gone. I will remember with disgust/fondly those many hours I spent wasting my time doing something I apparently dislike intensely like a total moron/interacting with friends, having fun, and sharing information.

Pick your poison.

Pfff.

Yesterday Ulrika, today Mulch. I don't do hero/heroine-worship. Even if I did, I can't imagine how I could set my sights any lower than I would be with Mulch. ;)

These forums had all the fascination for me of a car wreck. The scattered eviserage, the mangled metaphors, the crumpled expectations ( even tho those expectations weren't rated for over 5 mph!), the shattered yet cynical idealism, the effluent flow of troll-fuel trickling out of the tank.

And yet the drivers, drunk on there own whine clutch spasmodically at what they think is the steering wheel mumbling "its not my fault!, the Lindens are a bunch of morons for making us drive in separate lanes and asking us to pay tolls to pave the road! And worse they make road improvements! Right in the middle of traffic - inconveniencing me! Making me detour! Well just you watch! We'lll drive elswhere! We'll take our freedom and our insistence on driving all over the road and running into other people and honking our horns somewhere else!"

And so as the wrecks are hauled away, as the drivers wander off to drive elsewhere, those of us who discovered flight smile and wave, certainly we will miss the excitement of the wreck, but not the damage and noise!
